SYNTHETIC RUBBER-BASED HOT MELT PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVES
Synthetic rubber-based hot melt adhesives work well for tape and label construction, offering the following advantages:
1.Quick, high strength bond
2.Ability to bond to both high and low surface energy substrates
3.Excellent performance in high humidity environments
Additionally, hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives allow converters to use a higher coat weight than other options, if needed. They also can be formulated for both freezer grade and refrigeration applications. Possessing superior tack and peel, this feature increases their converting flexibility. Hot melt pressure sensitive adhesives are able to bond to both rough and smooth surfaces as a result.
ACRYLIC WATER-BASED PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVES
Another type of adhesive technology is acrylic water-based. These pressure sensitive adhesives possess the following advantages:

3.Resistance to extreme environmental conditions
Depending on the formulation, acrylic water-based pressure sensitive adhesives can perform in a wide temperature range and in adverse conditions. While both hot melt and water-based pressure sensitive adhesives are designed for tape and label construction, it’s important to consider the end-use application needs when determining which technology to choose.
